When Disaster Strikes, Call Flash Burrito!

Welcome to Flash Burrito! It's a website created out of the combined interest of two video game playing junkies. Actually, one of them is a long time addict and the other is on his way. Here's a bit about how Flash Burrito works.

Home Page

The most common use of our site is to click on the game links on the Home Page. There are convenient first, previous, next, last buttons to navigate through the games, sorted by date submitted. We don't host the games on our site for a couple reasons. 1) that's what everyone else does. 2) Occassionally I've noticed that a game will be altered by it's orginal owner. They just update the main copy of the game and have no way to propogate the fixes out to all the peripheral sites that host them. 3) Oftentimes game makers design the game for a specific screen size and various sites hosting them don't maintain that same size. Ever played a game and it was too small? There's a good chance that you can find a better version if you play it where it's originally hosted. 4) and most importantly, hosting game links is far easier than the games themselves. Laziness trumps all here. I also figure it will be easier to develop a larger and more diverse array of games when we have just the links. We have no affiliation to any particular vendor or game maker so every game gets a fair shake.

Game Page

When you click on the comments link by any game it will take you to the Game Page. This is where you can leave comments, vote on the game rank, or tags. It also shows a full description and all the comments. And of course, you can (and should) click on the game link to go play that game.

User Page

This is our stalker page. Here at Flash Burrito we encourage our users to haunt the steps of our less suspecting clientele. Want to see what people are up to? Just click on their their user name. User names will appear throughout the website whenever they either submit a game or comment. As time goes on we'll find new ways to draw attention to our various gamers. It's likely that the Game Page we will show who's played that game recently, for instance.

User Admin Page

This link only appears when you're on your own user page and logged in. On the User Admin Page you can change your password and your description. We left it free form to encourage creativity instead of asking an interview style list including everything from your zodiac sign to favorite soda. There's a strong possibility that we'll incorporate a better text editor so at least people can use different fonts and colors.

Register/Log in

Do I need to explain what these are? I really really hope not. You can log in or register by clicking the link to those pages. It's really not all the phenomonal of a task. Please read our Terms Page before registering though. We attempted to unborify it to make it tolerable for the average casual gamer's attention span for legalese.

Feedback Page

Do you want to make your voice heard? Contribute to the deliquency of minors? Do you want to be a fireman when you grow up? Well, we don't entirely care about most of that. But, if you have something to share with us then there's always the chance that we might notice. The feedback page is the page for just that type of activity.

That wraps up the basics. Enjoy the games! And don't go back to work.. ;)
